By coming on camp I agree to the following: ¬ I won't bring alcohol or drugs with me ¬ I will get involved ¬ I will respect both camp and personal property ¬ I will be open-minded to what God has for me ¬ I will have fun ¬ I will respect the decisions of our leaders and camp parents ¬ I will do my own dishes and assist in chores around the camp ¬ I will tell my leader if I am addicted to smoking and can’t survive camp without regular nicotine intakes. ¬ I understand that most of what happens on camp is common sense but if I do something incredibly stupid which may cause harm to people, property or myself then I may be asked to go home. I will shower at least once on camp -or risk getting thrown in the sea

Acknowledgement of Risk I have read the RBY Summer Camp 2021 event information sheet and I understand that there are risks associated with involvement in camp activities and that these risks cannot be completely eliminated. I understand that the camp leaders will identify any foreseeable risks or hazards and implement correct management procedures to eliminate, isolate or minimise those hazards. I will do my best to ensure that my child follows these procedures. I know that I am able to ask any questions of the camp leaders about the activities my child will be involved in, to gain a better understanding of the risks involved. I recognise that participation in such activities is voluntary and not mandatory through a ‘challenge by choice’ procedure. My child and I both understand that they may withdraw from an activity if they feel at risk. This must be done in consultation with the person in charge. In understand that Rangiora Baptist Church does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property and that it is my responsibility to check my own insurance policy. I also acknowledge that I will be responsible for professional medical costs (past basic First Aid), should my child sustain an injury while on camp.
